VOLKSWAGEN CARGO ELECTRIC BIKE REVIEW
This new Volkswagen cargo electric bike designed to carry loads of up to 210 kilograms with zero emissions.
Cleaning mobility is also fashionable when it comes to scooters and bicycles. The former seems to be having a boom lately, with proposals such as Xiaomi’s, but electric bicycles still have a lot to say, and proof of it is the Volkswagen e-Bike Charge, an electric bike designed to carry an extra charge.
It has a different design than usual, away from folding and minimalist concepts such as Peugeot and with a platform to charge beyond what we saw in the basket of the Panasonic electric bicycle. On the other hand, it has three wheels, with a lithium battery and zero emissions, let’s see how Volkswagen’s proposal is.

CAN WITH LOADS OF UP TO 240 KILOGRAMS
Within the selection of electric vehicles that the company presented the advantage of the sample of the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hannover. Volkswagen has taken up the thread that began with the bike but taking it to a more practical level. Thus, the Cargo e-Bike designed for both in the city and in production plants, hotels and environments in which a vehicle required for the transport of loads up to 0.5 cubic meters, which allows climbing the platform you have in the front.
It can reach a speed of 25 kilometers/hour and includes a battery of 500 watts/hour that can give a range of up to 100 kilometers (according to Volkswagen). It measures just over two meters in length. It weighs about 40 kilograms, being able to support a load of up to 210 kilograms (including the driver), with a front axle prepared so that the bike does not tilt or wobble when making turns, thanks to its technology level.
The limitation of the loading tray is 90 centimeters to ensure that the bike passes through the doors. The wheels measure 20 and 24 inches (front and rear respectively).
